LA CROSSE TECHNOLOGY - Frequently Asked Questions

To function properly, the projection alarm clock must be started correctly using good quality alkaline batteries and the time must be set.

     

Section 1 - Projection and LCD

     
Question 1   The Projection is faint
     
   
  1. Use AC adapter
  2. Darken surroundings
  3. Use fresh batteries (if AC is not used)
     
Question 2   The LCD is faint
     
   
  1. Replace the batteries
     

Section 2 - Time does not display properly

     
Question 1   WWVB signal has not been received
     
   
  1. It may help reception to face the front of the Projection Alarm in the general direction of Ft. Collins, Colorado.
  2. Wait overnight for a signal
  3. Be sure the Projection Alarm is at least 6 feet from any electrical devices, i.e. TV sets, computers, or other radio controlled clocks.
  4. Remove the batteries for five minutes, reinsert and leave the unit alone overnight without pressing any buttons.
     
Question 2   Hour is incorrect (minute and date are correct)
     
   

Be sure the correct time zone and Daylight Saving Time (DST) are selected.
