Show the projection all of the time |

The projection will be continuously displayed if it is plugged in with the AC adapter. If there is still no projection, put your hand about 2'' from the projection lens. You should see a red dot. If you do not see a red dot, press the button that looks like a sun twice then try it again. The projection will show on the wall or ceiling only when the room is rather dark. |

- It may help reception to face the front of the Projection Alarm in the general direction of Ft. Collins, Colorado.
- Wait overnight for a signal
- Be sure the Projection Alarm is at least 6 feet from any electrical devices, i.e. TV sets, computers, or other radio controlled clocks.
- Remove the batteries for five minutes, reinsert and leave the unit alone overnight without pressing any buttons.

Press and hold the corresponding ALM button until the alarm time is displayed. The time should be flashing. Press the ALM1 button to advance the hour and ALM2 button to advance the minute. |

If you look in the upper right-hand corner you should see an alarm icon (((1))), (((2))), or both. The alarm icons signify that an alarm is activated. To deactivate the alarms, press and release the corresponding ALM button. To activate the alarm press and release the ALM button again and the icon will reappear. |

The maximum open-air distance is 80 feet in a straight line although you should take into account distance and resistance. Subtract 25-30 feet for an exterior wall or any obstruction that is similar in width or composition. Subtract 15-20 feet per interior wall or any obstruction that is similar in width or composition. (An obstruction would include anything that is between the line of sight like a roof, walls, floors, ceilings, trees, etc.) Also keep your units away from electronic appliances like TV’s, microwaves, computers, refrigerators, and speakers.
We have trouble maintaining a signal through metal siding, stucco walls, and UV glass. You can get the remote sensor to transmit through these materials, but it will take a little bit of trial and error. Reset the weather station as mentioned above and change the angle that the remote transmits through the siding or glass until an outdoor temperature remains on the display for an extended period of time. Keep in mind that the signal from the remote must travel through some space (3 inches of air minimum) before reaching the metal wall or glass window. |

- Bring both units inside and have the units 3-5 feet apart with nothing in-between them.
- Remove the batteries from both units and unplug the display from the wall.
- Press one of the buttons at least 20 times or until the display is blank to clear all memory.
- Put the batteries back into the remote sensor.
- Taking care not to press any buttons, plug the display back into the wall with the AC adapter. (This will ensure that no buttons are pressed. When a button is press during initial setup, it severs the connection of the remote and the display causing no outdoor temperature to show on the display.)
- Do not press any buttons for at least 10 minutes after installing the batteries. (Let them establish a good connection.)
- An outdoor temperature should be showing on your display. You can now put your outdoor sensor back outside and put batteries into the display.

In order to get an accurate reading and to prolong the life of your sensor we recommend that you have it in a sheltered area out of the sun and direct rain. Fog and Mist will not affect the sensor, but a soaking in water may. You can mount it outside under an eve of your house or any other suitable place that will keep it out of the sun and rain. Do not wrap the sensor in plastic or seal it in a plastic bag.
