"This is my second Station."
This is my second Lacrosse Wireless Temperature Station. I love the features. When my first one died and I could not revive it, I ordered another one.
"Worked for 4 days"
We loved it for four days and then the outdoor temperature ceased to register and then 24 hours later (today) the indoor temperature shows a toasty 136.4. I've tried changing the batteries--although they all came from a brand new pack of batteries. Nothing works. I'm fed up. My mom has had one for 5 years that works without any problems. Has the company ceased to have any quality control since then?

"CANNOT GET OUTSIDE TEMP TO WORK"
We set up the inside temperature with no problems. I got online to your help website where I was told there is no written help online to try and figure out how to get the outdoor temperature to display.
Still does not work. New batteries were installed and I followed the very brief instructions that came with the thermometer. Very frustrating as we've had your product previously with no issues.
Thank you for your comments and we apologize you are having troubles. A full manual and FAQ's is found on the Support tab for this product. Please try this:
1-Bring both units inside and have the units 3-5 feet apart with nothing between them.
2-Remove all power from both units.
3-Press one of the buttons on the display at least 20 times to clear all memory. Verify that the display is blank before proceeding.
4-Let the all units sit with batteries out for 10 minutes.
5-Be sure to use a new, Brand Name Alkaline battery dated at least 7 years in advance (super, ultra, max, heavy duty and rechargeable types should be avoided). Place them back into the remote sensor; making sure they are installed according to the diagrams in the battery compartment.
6-Next, taking care not to press any buttons, reinstall the batteries in the display according to the diagram in the battery compartment.
8-Do not press any buttons for at least 15 minutes after installing the batteries. (Let them establish a good connection.)
