Projection/Backlight Function
The projection will be continuously displayed if the AC cord is plugged into the wall. Please check that the AC cord is properly plugged in. On the unit, line the cord up with the hole and push it in firmly. Sometimes it helps to use a pen, as the opening is small. Once you are sure it is in correctly, remove the batteries. If the display goes blank, your AC cord is not solidly in place.
A unit that has a color display screen or is backlite will remain lite only if the AC cord is plugged into the wall. If the AC cord is not used the display will stay lite for 5 - 15 seconds and then go dark.
